Directions

SUNSENSE should be applied to clean, dry skin, 15 minutes before exposure to the sun. This allows the sunscreen to bond to the skin. Sport lovers are particularly at risk. The Australian Institute of Sport recommends the use of SUNSENSE to their athletes.

Remember to use SUNSENSE when you are playing outdoor sports. You should even apply SUNSENSE before washing the car or doing the gardening.

Use SUNSENSE during high altitude activities such as skiing and mountain climbing. High altitudes increase the risk of sunburn, because there is less atmosphere to absorb the sun?s rays.

Minimise sun exposure between the hours of 10am and 2pm when the sun is the strongest. 11.00am and 3.00pm daylight savings time. Sunscreens wear off the skin with normal usage, so re-apply SUNSENSE at least every 2 hours and after swimming, exercise, heavy perspiration and towelling dry. Apply SUNSENSE on overcast days.
